Every year, we look forward to welcoming both our loyal and new farm partners to our annual Trials Days — a unique opportunity for growers to connect with plant breeders, ADM specialists, your ADM farm trader and fellow farmers from their region. These events are more than just field visits; they’re a chance to explore the newest crop varieties, explore their visual potential under local conditions, discuss seed and fertiliser innovations, and connect with others in the local area.
Where and When?
This year, our Trials Days will be held at four fantastic locations across England:
Syngenta Kilham, Yorkshire – Tuesday 3rd June
RAGT Ickleton, Cambridge/ Essex border – Tuesday 24th June
Limagrain Rothwell, Lincolnshire – Friday 27th June
DSV Flawborough, Nottinghamshire – Monday 30th June
Each location offers a unique insight into plant breeding – varieties for the future, exciting new traits and genes. Plus, attendees can earn valuable BASIS and NRoSO points, and take advantage of moisture meter clinics available at every site.
What to Expect at Each Location
Syngenta Kilham
Preview the latest Wheat and Barley varieties for the upcoming season with our Seed Specialists Dave and Rosie who will be joined by Mark (Syngenta’s Seed Sales Manager) and Charlotte (Syngenta’s Area Manager) to showcase exciting fungicide trials and advancements in crop protection.
RAGT Ickleton
Explore the full Recommended List of varieties in both treated and untreated plots. Discover RAGT’s NL1 and NL2 lines, Spring Barley, Oats, Oilseed Rape (OSR), and Cover Crops. Meet the experts at RAGT — Edward (Cereal Product Manager), Andrew (Technical Sales Manager), and Helen (Managing Director) — who will be on hand to discuss the latest in crop performance and developments.
Limagrain Rothwell
Examine both treated and untreated plots of Winter Wheat, Winter Barley, and Spring Barley with Limagrain’s Arable Technical Manager Ron, alongside ADM Seed Specialists Dave and Rosie. They will provide expert guidance to help you choose the best varieties for your farm, helping maximise return on investment.
DSV Flawborough
Dive into Winter Wheat trials with DSV’s Marketing and Sales Manager Sarah, alongside ADM Seed Specialists Dave and Rosie. This is also your chance to meet Will, our Fertiliser Trader, to discuss your fertiliser requirements in detail.

Simply contact your Farm Trader to sign up to one of our sessions. All we need to know is the location you would like to attend, whether you will be bringing your moisture meter, and any dietary requirements you have. RSVP deadlines are one week before the trials days.
